About me

about me

I created this space during a season when my body asked for gentleness.

Grief, neurological overwhelm, and deep fatigue changed the way I understood health. Things that once felt manageable became heavy. Advice that promised transformation felt impossible to follow. What I needed wasn’t motivation, it was permission to slow down and listen.

This website grew out of that listening.

A Different Way of Seeing Health

I believe the body is intelligent, even when it appears to be struggling. Brain fog, exhaustion, emotional sensitivity, and shutdown are not signs of failure, they are signals. Often, they are the body’s way of protecting itself after loss, prolonged stress, or years of pushing beyond capacity.

My approach to holistic health is gentle and grief-aware. It centers the nervous system, honors limits, and values compassion over discipline. I’m less interested in optimization and more interested in what helps a person feel safe enough to breathe again.

What You’ll Find Here

This is a quiet place for reflection and support. Here, I write about:

  • The relationship between grief and the body
  • Nervous system overwhelm and sensitivity
  • Fatigue, brain fog, and hormonal shifts
  • Gentle nourishment, rest, and grounding
  • Living with more kindness toward oneself

Nothing here is meant to rush you or fix you. The writing is offered as companionship, something to sit with, not something to complete.

What This Space Is Not

This is not a space for hustle-based wellness, forced positivity, or rigid routines. I don’t believe healing should be loud, performative, or demanding. I also don’t believe there is one right way to feel better.

Health, to me, is relational. It changes with seasons, circumstances, and loss. It deserves patience.

A Gentle Note

I am not here to replace medical or mental health care. This space exists alongside it, offering perspective, lived insight, and a softer lens through which to understand the body.

If you’re here, you’re not behind. You’re not broken. You’re responding to life in the best way your system knows how.

You’re welcome to stay as long as you need.
